Purpose
The Sequence is more than a company blog — it’s a media publication for ideas and perspectives that shape the future of IT and security. We welcome op-eds from Kandji team members and guest contributors who want to share their insights, experiences, and personal viewpoints. Our goal is to give space to diverse voices and spark meaningful conversations across the industry.
Editorial Standards
1. Content Integrity
- We will not alter the author’s opinions or arguments.
- Only grammatical, spelling, and clarity edits will be made.
2. Disclaimer Requirement
- Every op-ed will carry a disclaimer, such as:
- The views expressed here are the author’s own and informed by their professional and personal experience.
- This article reflects the personal views of the author and does not necessarily represent those of Kandji.
3. Attribution
- Author’s full name, title, and affiliation (if desired) will be published.
- There will be a bio section added to the bottom of every op-ed (which is different than our blog posts) so it’s very clear this person is not affiliated with us. It’s also a great way to highlight the speaker and allow them to promote where else readers can engage with them.
- Anonymous submissions will not be accepted.
4. Submission Review
- All pieces will be reviewed for:
- Relevance to IT, security, and related industries.
- Accuracy of factual claims (where verifiable).
- Adherence to basic standards of respect (no discriminatory or harmful language).
- Pieces may be rejected if they fail to meet these standards.
5. Editorial Context
- In rare cases where an article sparks significant controversy, Kandji reserves the right to add a short editor’s note to explain why it was included.
Process
- Author submits draft to The Sequence editorial team at newsletter@kandji.io
- Content manager reviews for grammar, clarity, and standards.
- CMO provides final approval before publishing.
- Article is published with disclaimer and attribution.
